Subject : Can anyone recommend some biodegradable nappies?

I always said that when lo arrived I wanted to use biodegradable nappies.... Nicer to the environment than non degrading disposables without the hassle of re-usable nappies. Then lo arrives 10 weeks early and not many brands make nappies for babies at 3lb or so and to be honest I had higher priorities than wondering about what nappies we had to buy!! Now lo is home, healthy and bigger I'd like to give biodegradables a try.... So has anyone used them and can you recommend any brands for me to try?

I used the boots nature baby care and wouldn't recommend them. they rubbed my baby willy and it got a sore on it so i had to stop using them. My friend also used them and her girl got really bad nappy rash almost resulting in blisters. we'd both been changing them regularly so wasn't that. They just seemed to rub really badly which is not good when combined with amonia!

Hi there

I don't know if you still are seeking advice on this but if you need a good 'bio-degradeable' nappy then I would reccommend a nappy called Moltex. It is a non-bleached disposable so is brown in colour and has an alsmost cloth like feel to it and works very well. They are manufactured in an award winning eco-friendly factory in Germany too! One other nappy is called Bambo Nature and can be found on a web site call Spirit of Nature (just Google it).
I know it is probably a little late for you but I hope it does help you in some small way
