What Age Gap?

There will be 3 1/2 years gap between my daughter and this baby.
Even though we started trying when she was 21months I am very happy with the gap and its ideal for us as she will be starting nursery in september so I'll have time for the baby every morning!

My son is 18 months and I'm nearly 35 weeks pregnant with a little girl. We wanted them close together and worry about how I'll cope with them so close together and although my son is very good, he's also a bit clingy! x

I agree that it is when you're ready and there are definite pros and cons to all gaps! My girls are 15 and 6 and we're ttc no 3 so there will be a nearly 9 yr gap between first two and 7 years between next two! I'm 41 so don't let age put you off!
Ours has turned out like this because of our circumstances and the worst bit is when I meet new people they always assume they must be from different relationships... nope we've been together for 25 years! Also with very small or large gaps people assume it's an accident
We've found it great as no1 happily babysits no2 and was at the homebirth of her sister and even cut the cord!
I say go with what feels right for you!

My son was 3 in July and I am due in May with my second, and Like Sophie said I will be able to have quite time in the mornings with the new baby, but then make a consious effort to make a fuss of my son when he gets home.

I agree if it feels right then go for it.xxx
