Subject : pooping in pants

Hi all,

My daughter is 2 and a half, and has been potty trained for 5mths. Just lately though, she has been pooping in her knickers, and also wetting herself (mostly when she is busy playing). I ask her if she needs a wee/poo frequently throughout the day, she says no, then goes and does it in her pants!

She has also started pooing when I put her in the bath.

Anyone got any advice? Or any idea on the poo-bath thing?

thanks in advance! :)

Hi

This is only an idea as im in early days potty training but i was reading that kids regress and that sometimes you need to go back to basics so id go with a star chart and a little reward at the end of the week.

good luck

hi all

it sounds as though she started potty training too young and it has now caught up with her and she is regressing. it happened to my friends daughter and she had to go right back to basics....i've learnt that after 4 children that 2 1/2 - 3 seems to be the best age to begin training. hope it helps x
