hun, im 38, and am certain that im pregnant again,

i already have two boys 13, 6 and fell pregnant on holiday last july, i miscarried at 11 weeks in october, i only have one overy and apparently this has always been the case!

after the miscarraige, i was told my rubella was very low, so had to have a mmr, was told shouldnt try for 3 months, that would bring me to end jan,

then a week later was told that the pregnancy was in fact molar, which meant that my hcg would have to be tested for 6 months to check the tumour had all gone, i got the all clear at the begininng of april

i was due to have the baby on 28th april, the day before my youngest 6th birthday. on monday, i took a test, and got a faint line, in fact 3 faint lines
the next day, 2 negs

thursday. 1 faint line
then 1 neg

this morning, again a faint line, im due sunday,

so there is hope lovely xx

Hey, hang in there. i am 37 and expecting our second baby in June this year. Not been an easy pregnancy and a lively 6 year old means I am quite tired ( wonder if I would be as tired if I were younger ) but still hope to have more after this little one appears. If Madonna and Tess Daly and all those other celebs can do it - we can too.

Have you been to Holland & Barrett and looked at Agnus Castus and Dong Quai ? They are recommended for rebalancing hormones etc,, - my friend swears it helped her - they fell after a month.

Good luck !

Hi Roisine

Good luck and I have everything crossed for you, I am 38 and we are TTC, only been trying a month ( with our DS we got pregnant the first month of trying) and I am trying hard not to get too hung up on the whole thing, but I must admit last week I felt very odd and thought I was pregnant and did a test but it was a BFN, but AF has not arrived yet, so I have no idea what is going on,
Feel just the same as you, is 38 too old.....

Best wishes and let us all know how you are doing.

Lots of love

Dinky xx
