Subject : Home birthing pool
Hi Ladies
I am looking for some advice from anyone who has had a birthing pool for their home birth.
Can anyone recommend a make/website to go for?
Im 5ft 10, so I will need a reasonably large pool, but I am also on a budget!
Thanks in advance for your help.

I hired one from splashdown last time as I really wanted solid sides....I don't really know why. I found the hose and buckets of water to keep the temp right a bit distracting though, so this time I've splurged on a heated pool. Also I have a feeling my labour will be much quicker so hope just to jump in when the time is right. Made OH pay for it as he enjoys private health care whenever he has something done!!
Hope you find what you need. x x

Where do you live? I have a fibre glass pool with a built in seat which I hire out for £140 making no profit as that cost includes the lining, heat cover, filling hose, 2 tap adaptors, thermometers other accessories and maintenance costs. My home birth was the best day of my life and I loved being in that pool - my aim is for others to have the same experience. x
