It has come to our attention that some comments recently posted on these boards have been of a personally offensive nature, in both content and language. Babyexpert chatboards are renowned for their friendly and supportive nature; I would therefore draw your attention to the following rules of the site:
Do not use profanities
Do not post a personal insult about another user
Any posts found to contravene these and other rules of the site will be removed. Persistent offenders will be banned.
Let's not let a small minority spoil the site for the majority.

Hello folks,
We've noticed things have become rather heated on a particular topic in the Pregnancy forum recently. FYI: I have deleted a breakaway thread on the same topic as it was not very constructive.
I would draw your attention to my post above about chatroom behaviour.
Remember, everyone is entitled to their opinion, don't take things personally - sometimes a written comment can be taken in the wrong way - please keep swearing out of our chatroom and try to keep things friendly.

We had hoped that things were calming over on the 'Total major rant'. Evidently they haven't so I have deleted the whole thread due to repeated use of offensive language. Debate is great, voicing opinions is great, getting terribly upset and swearing is not.

Many of us tried to report, but the button is still not working.
Surely there is somthing you can do.....

It would seem not Rileysmama! I also tried to report this weekends posts and couldn't because the function isn't working (still)
Come on BE, please do something about this once and for all, why are you allowing this one individual to create an unpleasant atmosphere for everyone and ruin your forum?

try emailing your complaints and links to the horrible posts to info@babyexpert.com instead of using the report to moderator button.
I agree that something should be done to stop this behaviour. All through the prima baby magazine it suggusts coming onto this site but then when people join they have to put up with abusive behaviour.....not right!

No they won't because thst isn't working properly now either. I tried to report a post on Fir, report button is still not working, tried sending an email instead, and that got sent back with an error report as well. We might as well put out a troll welcome mat.
