Didn't want to r & r.....ur not alone hun! My eldest son is 4 in 2 wks and currently, we are keeping him in pull-ups at night time as it's far less stressful for him! He does have the odd dry night but every time we've tried a night without, he invariably wets the bed and gets so distraught over it that for the time being pull-ups are the way to go.
He's brilliant during the day, even goes b4 he goes bed too, and we've reduced his liquid intake during the afternoon and evenings but doesn't make a lot of difference. Apparently, it's all to do with a chemical in the brain that controls bodily functions when we're asleep - it's generally known to 'kick-in' late in boys but can be late in any child.
We've kinda decided, as he's perfectly ok otherwise and a much happier sleeper with a pull-up at night, that we'll carry on as is for now. Obviously, if it's still happening by time he's 5 then we'll get him chk'd out.
