Hello fellow older mummies *waves*

Well this is the first time I've popped onto this forum, partly because I've never really looked before but also partly because I'd never considered myself an 'older' mum but at 33 I guess I definitely am Lol.

Anyway, my name is Louise and me and oh have a beautiful lo called Kade who is 13 months. We are currently trying to concieve no 2.

Probably recognise a lot of you from baby forum but for anyone who's not, look forward to chatting with you soon xxx

Sorry....your far too young to be on here....OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!! Only kidding!!!!

I am Denise, 39 :-( mum of 5 aged 17 to 8 months!!!! 2 girls and 3 boys.

I feel every day of my age some days and on others I feel 18 (just dont look it)

I dont come on here much as it was a pretty quiet forum but it seems to be picking up.

Hope birth goes well Camlo and that Louise you get the BFP soon

I've only just noticed this forum!

Well I think I'm probably old enough to be on here at 38!

I know most of you guys from other forums anyway but for anyone I don't know, I had my 4th lo 5 months ago.

I also feel as though I'm 18 in my head at least, but physically I'm like a 73 year old lol! (and probably look even older) I've decided that after 20 years of giving birth and raising children it's time to hang up my ovaries and had my tubes tied during my last section.

Deedee - glad to see you've beaten me on both the age and number of children scores!

xx

Hello everyone!
I have never joined one of these before but you kind of get directed towards them the minute you start googling pregnancy/TTC problems! I am 37, have 2 boys age 8 and 6 by my ex husband and have been with my partner for 3 and half years. We have decided to try for a baby (which was never on the cards before - I am ECSTATIC!) but I am on the depo and my last jab runs out Xmas DAY! I have read hundreds of horror stories on forums about TTC after Depo, and with our ages (he's 42) I guess it will come down to whether its meant to be! Any other older mummys conceived after depo?X8\)

Hi Nicky- I haven't used the depo but just wanted to say I conceived 3 times in a 2 yr period from 32-34yrs but suffered 4 yrs infertility in my 20's so there is always hope and not all older mums struggle.

Thanks for that! I must admit its not so much my age as that blasted depo that concerns me x

I feel really old - am 41 and this is my first - what have I done with myself?

Have had 2 miscarriages in the past year but 8 weeks now (never reached this milestone before) and it's just hitting me this may be really gonna happen!!

Am worried about the age thing and risks etc but have wanted this for such a long time not gonna let it stop me.

Good luck to all us yummie mummies and I look forward to chatting to you all over the coming months
