Subject : encouragement: reasons for staying at home!!! hi everyone..i have been at home with kids for a year or so now, but an really just getting into it because i have yo-yoed from wanting to stay at home to searching for jobs....bu tits official...im going to stop looking for jobs.....i am just going to embrace being a stay at home mummy!! it feels quite exciting! so, i know from experience its quite boring at times and sometimes we may wish we had something more in our lives or something for US... so i thought it would be good for us to list reasons why its fab to stay at home with the kids, so that when we are feeling linely and down about it we can rememeber that its not just all about us and how our kids will benefit from us being there for them, aswell as us not missing one moment!!! anyway ill start with a few... * not missing all the 'firsts' anyone think of anymore ?... (i just also want to say that im not saying working mums a bad, im just tryin gto post about making stay at home mums feel better because it really is hard) X |

Subject :
encouragement: reasons for staying at home!!!
I often bitch and moan about being at home. But I do think I have done the right thing for us. Yes, it means we can't have EVERYTHING we want, but we have all we need and best of all we have time to enjoy it. |

Subject : encouragement: reasons for staying at home!!! I agree with you both. I am always moaning about being stuck at home all day every day, but at least I get to see everything, and haven't missed out on those 'firsts'. I really don;t think i'd like someone else looking after them all day. That said it is bloody hard sometimes isn't it? Trying to entertain them all day!!! I still don't have time to do everything i want to in the day, so i don't know how working mums manage!! Only just noticed this forum, it's a good one for mums to offload how they feel at the end of hard day. Got a feeling i'll be here quite a lot!!!!! Speak soon, take care ladies! |

Subject : encouragement: reasons for staying at home!!! Hi Ladies, Faces of my angels to wake each morn and put to sleep at night I often hear parents say don't wish away your childhood and here I am getting to do it all over again, but with the knowledge & experience of an adult. What better reasons to stay home. Financially hard but we have what we need and if that changes I'll worry about it then. Enjoy |

Subject : encouragement: reasons for staying at home!!! reasons for staying at home....hhhmmmmm let me see, Well apart from not being able to afford childcare for three children anymore, I'd say the best thing is being there for my kids, whenever they need me, Having time to make my house a home(something that I just didnt have time for before.) seeing all my kids growing, changing and to see them happy. |

Subject : encouragement: reasons for staying at home!!! i just love the fact that you can relax and enjoy ur children rather than worrying about whos got them, what ur missing out on ect. My eldest has just turned 3 and starts nursery in Jan and Im dreading it - not for his sake but for mine - he'll love it!! But he wont be exclusively mine anymore Dont feel guilty/ bored/ worried about staying home - the first few years go so so fast and before you know it they'll be at school then u can go bk to work. |
he'll be doing things with teachers and in a way Im jealous. Hes my kid not theirs!
But........ its all part of life hes gotta learn how to socialise ect Then the other 2 wont be far behind him
*sigh*
