check up appointments
hi,
i've been reading a few of the posts on here and every now and again some of you mention hospital check-ups. should premature babies be having regular check-ups at the hospital. we were never given such appointment.

How premature was your baby? My lo was 11 wks early and we had regular check ups for about 6 months and then 6monthly/yearly check ups until he was 2 yrs old.

Kara was born at 34+4 weeks and I only had a check up 3 weeks after she got out of hospital. I never had to go back after that. I think it depends how early they were and also if they had any problems.
