you are definatly not failing as a mum. maybe your youngest is doing this just to get some attention as he may feel his older brother is getting more as he has been having problems too? can you take your son to the toliet so he doesnt do it when you are there? i know its hard when you have your hands full but try and give your youngest a bit of time alone with mummy or ask him what he would like to do? then use this as good behaviour prize when he does as asked and not spearing around the toilet? just rememeber that if you say you will take him swimming when he is good you then have to take him, lol. other things are things like well done stickers ect. sounds like you are having abit of a tough time at the moment. i hope it all settles down for you soon.
you could try talking to your health visitor but i expect she will say its just a faze (thats what mine tells me about nearly everything!)
good luck xx

TOILET PROBS (3 NEARLY 4 AND WONT USE TOILET ROLL)

Hello, You are not a failure. I have no idea why children do half the things they do, mine are always surprising me. I don't think understanding is key, just loving, accepting and mostly patience. Anyhow, I had a different but somewhat related toilet problem with my daughter and we bought colored paper tissues and put the box beside the toilet. So, while more expensive in the short term it has gotten her to wipe with the correct quantity each time. You can purchase all kinds with t.v. characters on the boxes and exc... Could this maybe entice him to try using the new "special" paper only for him?

Best luck and know your doing a good job.
