No idea about the energy drinks - do they contain lots of caffeine??? It might be that but if it is that then it is not that you are NOT allowed them just that it is advised not to have too much!
As for leaking my boobs NEVER leaked during pregnancy and my lo is now 9 months and was exclusively breastfed till 6 months and now still feeds morning and night so don't worry about that!

Hiya
Re the energy drink - you're not supposed to drink them in pg at all due to the huge amount of caffeine and something else that makes you buzz, but can't remember what!
As for the leaking, I never leaked at all during pg and in fact rarely do now and am bf my huge big boy who is now 14 weeks and seems to be very happy!
Good luckxx

Hiya
Same here, never leaked during pregnancy, and have now been exclusively breastfeeding for 6 weeks. I normally leak in the morning as my wee one sleeps for about 7 hours straight at night and my boobs get very full, but that's about it!

hi there,as others have said its the caffeine in energy drnks that u shouldnt have when preg or bf.I never leaked in this pregnancy but have more than enough milk for my daughter. When u go into labour ur body produces a hormone to tell ur body to produce milk so i wouldnt worry, good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and with bf if you choose to do it,hanna n grace xx

I'd avoid energy drinks, I'm sure that when I once looked at a can of Redbull it said it had 200% of your recommended daily allowance of caffeine, you should keep your intake of tea & coffee down too due to caffeine, it will pass through to your bb like other foods can have an effect - some say onion, grapes, chocolate, curries & alcohol all can have some effect on your bb...I suppose it's just trial & error but deffo stay away from energy drinks.

re- energy drinks
i dont drink tea or coffee so when back home from the hospital and absolutely shattered i thought 'what harm can a bit of redbull do ??' - bad move 1 can of redbull later and a very very restless baby :)
not drunk it since but really miss my redbull and am looking forward to being able to drink it again when ive stopped feeding :)
