nappy rash
Daisy is teething at the moment so im being so so carefull with her bumas she did get a sore bum for first time ever. Thats cleared up with plenty of nappyfree time and sudocreme but she has this rash from her belly buttondown fromthe front of the nappy. i bought some bepanthen ceme yesterday and have been using that as didnt think the sudocreme was working. its really itchy not like normal nappy rash as if shes alergic to something. she has allways got her hands in if she can i have tried to keep her nappy off butshe gets bored on mat and sitting still on me. any ideas???? i am using huggies but allways have so it cant be them although the nappy is ef irritating it.

nappy rash
Hello, my lo sometimes gets this i usually find its cos of her being hot or active and the nappy rubbing a bit. I use vasaline as i find it acts as a barrier rather than the others which are treatments. This seemed to stop it. If the rash is still there after a couple of days of using vasaline jus check wit the hv. X x

Hi westbrom,
Could it be a reaction to the sudocrem?
I don't really know what to suggest, but I would probably apply vaseline like Jade's Mummy said and have lots of nappy free time.
Bless Daisy, i'm sure she'll be back to normal soon.
Ooh another thought, have you introduced any new foods since she had this rash? Probably nothing to do it with it but thought i'd say just in case! xx

id reccommend metanium for nappy rash as sudocreme is a barrier and not to treat it.metaniun is bright yellow but is fab,u will notice a difference after 1 or 2 applications, can be brought from the chemist or with other nappy rash creams in the supermarket, hope she gets better soon!
