Hay Robslass,
Im like you I hate the morning sickness (although it has pretty much gone now). I got some of the travel sickness pressure point bands from boots, you just wear them on your wrists and they really really helped!!!
Naomi

Hey hun,
I had sickness from about 6weeks till 16 weeks and it was all day, I was lucky enough to only be sick a few times though. Is amazing when it finally lifts and you feel like eating again - I really made up for it I have put about 2 stone on!!
Hope it shifts for you soon, in the mean time you could try ginger biccys and have one before you get out of bed in the morning if you can - helps a bit. Sip water as much as you can too.
Amy & Bumpy - 38+3 xx

I've not had any sickness...spoke to mum and she never had any sickness. Neither did my nan when she was pregnant with all of her children so i wonder if it runs in the family. I could be one of the lucky ones!

acording to the date they gave me during my scan, i started with morning sicknes at two and a half weeks!! I'm ten weeks tomorrow and it's just starting to ease a bit, instead of being sick six times a day, i'm only being six 3-4 times a day, roll on 12 weeks

ya's are all lucky ducks i'm weird dont start it until about 10/11 weeks then it goes on & on & on & on & on you get the picture see more of the toilet bowl that people when i'm pregnant the throwing up stops around 6/7 months then its just nausea but it does kick back in for the last few weeks, with my 2nd i remember being slumped on the loo floor at work saying to myself remember this day dont you ever do this again!! but went on to have 3 & hoping for 4!
hopefully you're one of the normal ones & it will subside soon enough, the travel sickness bands did not work for me but have a friend who is 12/13 weeks & she said they worked within 10 minutes of putting them on so worth a shot. Found hard boiled sweets helped & just constantly nibbling on crackers or toast never let your tummy get empty i found that helped a lot when i just had the nausea.
good luck!
K.x

Hi, first time poster here. :)
I suffered with morning sickness on my second child(I already have three, am now expecting my fourth), and it was a killer. I wouldn't have minded if I'd actually thrown up, but it was nothing more than dry heaves. I vividly remember waiting outside of my father in law's fishmongers, turning forty shades of green.
Eat little and often, and steer clear of overly spicy foods. And it does go away.....eventually.

Hi
Like other people have suggested, the travel sickness bands are working really well for me too. They actually say on the packet anti-nausea and are also useful for people on chemo as well as just travelling and morning sickness.
Also, if you are taking folic acid, make sure you don't take it first thing, take it with your dinner, as that should help. I think for some people it makes them feel more ill.

I wasn't sick in the 1st trimester at all but have been sick from around 14wks until now. Don't seem to be sick at weekends at all so am thinking it's to do with having to get up early for work . The only thing that eases my sickness is gaviscon, polo's & ice cold water. Hope you start to feel better hunni xxx
