hi everyone. im 39 (just this month) and have 5 children 16, 9,6, nearly 3 and nearly 2 and am 23wks pregnant. my oldest does not live with me meaning ill have 5 children soon under 9. many people comment on my large family which annoys me as i have a partner and am not on benefits but noone ever mentions my age unless my partners in amood and having a go. hes 53 and its starting to hit him that althoiugh he thinks hes only 40 he isnt in real life, i guess at 39 i do feel old sometimes especially with a 16yr old but i dont look it unless tired or stressed out. ive just started to use protect and perfect range the skincare range from boots that hit the headlines and it does feel better and make a difference so maybe i am getting older. i know this will be my last pregnancy and must confess how really older mums do it is beyond me. (i mean the ones who have fertility treatment at 60). however everyone has the right to be a mum and well done and congratulations to all.

Hi,
Whilst i'm not in the same position as you all as a i only have one plus am 36 wks, i did come from a family of 6. I was the youngest, my mam was 39 when she had me. I'm now 35 my eldest sister is 46.
Can i just say that although financially things were tight for us growing up, i never once regretted coming from a big family. In fact it was great having so many other brothers and sisters to talk to and be guided by.
Hat's off to all of you with the determination and above all patience to raise a large family!
