'Big boy bed'

I am now the only person online on here lol, i feel so alone LOL!

Any way to the point, i bought my 16month old bunk beds, well i never my mum did, bad idea
yes i though so to untill she told me they also went in to single beds, so we asembled the top 1
because it has the bars (obv to stop you falling out the top bunk) but because the mattress is so thick its come nearly as high as the bars, so will have to buy a safety side gate thing, didnt want to have to but needs must, he has now been in bed since about 10, and hasnt managed to fall/climb out of it, im hoping he wont, we got him this bed as, im due no.2 in october and didnt want him to feel like he was just gettin chucked out his cot because new baby was here, any one think hes a bit young, i do but, i didnt want to have to buy another cot for it to only get used for a couple of months and then left doing nothing, he could cilmb out his cot, it only had 2 positions, n they wernt that low. hopefully he will stay in bed all night, will post in the morning let you know how we got on (fingers crossed) Happy

hi lisa. i have bought a bed for joseph too we just waiting for our carpets to arrive so we can assemble it. he is 14 and half months but we too are expecting no 2 in dec so we need to get him into his room for the same reasons. i dont know what to suggest about the cold hun perhaps tuck his covers in tightly? i do have to get up sometimes in the night myself and boost the heating as he gets a bit cold sometimes. glad it went well for you xxx
