Feeding at 6 months - advice please?
Abi is 6 months now and doing brilliant. She LOVES her bottle and I thought she would take to solids no problem, but she's not that keen!!
I've been trying baby rice, which she's getting used to, and banana breakfast, which she's not really keen on.
I just thought that because she was so good with her bottle that she would take to solids easy. Is there anything else I could try, like scrambled egg, a bit of toast to chew, or is she still too young for this?? She watches everything you're eating so I thought she would be more ready for this??
Codi was no problem so I didn't have to deal with this!! Any advice would be helpful.

try some vegetables, my lo at 5/12 months loves sweet potato, peas etc
My lo tried toast the other day (well he grabbed my philedelphia on toast and sucked all the philidelphia off !)

I had the same problem with my lo. He loved his milk but not solids so much. He's 14 months now & drinks LOADS of water and squash but he is just a fusspot about solids!
We tried a lot of new things with him when weaning, and took it really slow...
She is def not too young for finger food - toast is good, and Organix carrot crisps, as a first finger food.

Thanks so much, I'm just paranoid she'll choke on something!
I'll try some finger food and see what she thinks.
