Just realised that it's our 2nd wedding anniversary in 3.5wks!

Now, last year I made him an origami penguin (1st anniversary is paper and he loves penguins) and he wrote and designed me a front page of a newspaper. We were on a tight budget so we both did quite well

This year we are on a tight budget again so nothing big and fancy. 2nd anniversary is cotton so I need to come up with something unique and think outside the box so no shirts, hankies, socks or anything like that

you any good at sewing? maybe a cross stitch of something? erm no other ideas really

i was just going to suggest the same as cara!!! for my 2nd anniversary i did a wedding sampler for my husband!! do you know someone that could do this in time for you?

I do know someone who does cross stitch design - she's written books and everything but she's planning her wedding in August and so won't have time to do one for me

I am rubbish at sewing!

ahh, you're lucky to spend it together - our 2nd was last August and OH was away in the UK for months while I was in Canada at my parents - long story and worthy of a post some day once everything is eventually sorted out...

anyways, I saw a tshirt that says " I love my wife" and another that says " I love my husband"... tacky, i thought but people wear them...

Our 3rd is on Aug 28 and I'm getting OH 3 blue hydrangeias (our flower)... he complains he always buys me flowers so I'm going to surprise him with his own...

I love the boxer shorts!! I found a place that sells little bales of cotton which are quite cool, but it's in the USA. Doesn't say anything about shipping but you could ask them if you want me to find the link again.
