hi ladies. well i'm on cd15 of 2nd cycle after mc, so i think i should be ov'ing soonish but i don't know whether i am ov'ing or not. ov strips only showing the faintest of lines but i have some ewcm.
what do you think, believe my body or the ov test? i don't have a lot of cm (tmi sorry!) so perhaps i'm not ov'ing yet. but then i think they are only cheepie tests so could be wrong. which would you believe?

hope everone is ok today, apart from ov confusion i am feeling very happy today cause my lo who starts school in september who has special needs has got all the funding she needs for one to one assistance at school. its been really hard work to get everything sorted and its paid off so now i can concentrate on giving her another little sister or brother! xx

Hey milliepop! I've been using the ebay cheapy opk's for the first time this cycle and had the same confusion as you. I thought that I was ov on cd14, cos of two faint positives, but then had really strong positive on cd21, which was really obvious, and also ewcm, nausea, acne breakout, veiny (.)(.) etc (for some bizarre reason I get pg symptoms at ov now after mc!!). So, basically, the cheap opks do work you just need to persevere. Maybe you're ov later in you cycle like me after last month with a longer cycle too. Keep peeing on those sticks for another week and see what happens.

Btw, I started using fmu or second mu rather than later in the day as I drink so much water during the day that my pee is useless by the afternoon when you're supposed to do opks. Try this and see what results you get. xxx

Hi Milliepop,
I wanted to share my experience of OPK's with you as ive tried most of them you find on the high street. Ive used the cheap ones and the not so cheap ones and i still found reading the test lines hard and very confusing. Ive actually started using CB digital OPK because it takes all the guess work out of trying to read the lines although they are rather expensive. Now im not saying they are any better than the cheaper ones on the market, as i think they work just as well, its just personal preference. The pros to using the cheaper ones are that if you need to you can use more than one pack per cycle and carry on testing till you get OV! Hope its of some use. All the best and hope to here BFP for you soon! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Smile

I got cheapies off ebay and thought they weren't right but this month I OV'd at day 18 and not 14 even though I thought my CM was more around day 14!!!!!!!!

That's great news re your LO - hope she loves it at school and you get your BFP soon hun!

Lulee your post made me laugh too - twins :-) Though strangely my hubby seems to have it in his head we'll have them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe there's something in the water and we're all going crazy for twins?!

I'm totally with this twins idea - yay, more babies than we know what to do with ha ha!!

I'm due af a week today, so not *supposed* to be testing until Fri at earliest (10dpo)...but have been very bad and tested last three days! Convinced myself it was all in the name of science - double checking hpts and opks def work, but really its cos I'm sadly obsessed with poas, and now I have an abundance of ebay cheapies, I can poas to my hearts content! Suprisingly enough, all bfn so far ha ha!

Still having loads of symptoms though, so am full of pma this month! When are you both due to test?? xx

Just a thought are you using them at the right time of the day and not after drinking or peeing too soon before, I know that can affect the result. I would go with how your body feels though, that is the best test xx

well opk is really getting darker so i'm expecting a positive opk tomorrow or thurs.
i was gonna be testing on 24th july but that'll be too early now so i'll be testing about 2nd august. i'm gonna and try and wait until at least 12dpo cause i know i'll only get a bfn before this, i'll always got bfn before this even when i have been pg so must wait!! i too do have a bit of a poas obsession.

it feels strange at the mo cause really i should be in my 2ww by now but i'm still waiting for ov, mother nature does love prolonging the waiting game!!

Hope you get your positive soon. At least you have had lots of warning! Lol at the poas addiction, I sometimes wonder whether my poas or BE addiction is worse!
