Discreet nursing bras?

I have a dress I want to wear to a christening soon but all my nursing bras can be seen at the top or round the sides. Does anyone know of a solution? I will need to feed my lo whilst there but need a bra with minimal material, quite low cut, and not too thick straps...is there such a thing? x

Discreet nursing bras?

I had this same problem with a halterneck dress I wore to a wedding in May.

I can't offer much help with the bra sorry. In the end I gave up looking and just expressed enough for the day, put it in milk storage bags, put those in a small cool bag with ice pack to keep it fresh and took sterilised bottles and a small water flask! It was a bit of a faff as I am so used to not needing all those extra things but it worked for me in the end.

When I think back it wouldn't have been feasible for me to BF Toby anyway. There was no private room I could have gone in to and there was no way I was un-doing the halterneck and taking my dress down to my waist to feed him! LOL! LOL!

I hope you find something. Have you looked on figleaves.com? I forgot to look on there when I was searching for one, maybe they might have something?

You could have a look at the T-shirt nursing bras that mothercare do. They are definitely cut smaller than some, with thinner straps, and they do a flesh coloured one as well that might be less noticeable. They do only do a limited range of sizes though, think the biggest cup size is an E.
Another idea might be to go bra less and wear a pair of lilypadz, I found them fnatastic for letting me wear strappy tops, but again it depends on your chest size and the style of you dress whether you'd have enough support without a bra.
