Hopes and Dreams
Do you ever sit and think about the future? Like what you would like your kids to be when they are older or if you want to move house so your kids can go to a nicer school or grow up in a nicer place?
We moved when my middle boy was 9 months so they grow up in a nicer area + the schools are better up here. I've always said that as long as my boys are happy I dont mind what they do. I was talking to someone yesterday whos son was in the Army last year and she said every day he was away she worried and her thoughts were with him all the time and almost every night she was reduced to tears. OH has also said he dosnt want the boys being Firemen as its too risky. In reality you cant stop them doing what they want as they are adults. Another thing that has been worrying me is all this climate change. Whats the world gonna be like for our kids, and grandchildren and their children? Its depressing but its also very real.
Are you the sort of person that takes each day as it comes or do you think about the future?

I sometimes think about the future, I worry what sort of world we are leaving for our kids, and for their kids after that. We are happy and settled here, we moved to a bigger house before having Barney, so unless suprised quads arrive we have plenty of space, and we made sure we had decent schools nearby.
I don't mind what they do really as long as they are happy. Millie is a speed freak, she sits in the car telling us to go faster, so we joke that she will be the first female F1 champion! Barney is quite clearly a Rugby prop forward in the making, his legs are like tree trunks, so between the two of them they will be able to keep me nicely in my old age!!!

I worry about the state of the world, but as long as pippa's happy that's all i care about. Although her being rich enough to take care of her mum and dad in there old age would be nice

I try not to think about the future - it'd be too depressing if I was living with mil in 2 years time. I would like us to be living in a nice big house. We had the perfect one but the seller wants 2,000 more than we're offering. (Which is ridiculous if you ask me as it's been on the market over a year!) We're hoping he'll change his mind, cos there's not much else out there TBH :(

In th future I really, really want to go back to my education. I had Abby at 16 and did my GCSE's and got fairly good grades but have never had the chance to go back and do my A levels as I always planned to. I'd love to work on the antenatal or postnatal wards.

we moved here as it was better area for the kids and also in the catchment for a great school.
but we are moving again this time 340 miles away as hubbys job is moving to the head office, and it means a better life for us all.
As for when they grow up all i want is for them to be happy, but dont think i would be happy if there were in the army but in the end it is there choice.
i think my oldest son might follow his dad and do something with computers he got his first imac for his 6th birthday and i cant get him away from it, he knows more about my mac book than i do lol.
my daughter wants to be a police woman she is only 4.5 years at the moment but she has been saying she wants to be one since she was 2 years old and has never changed her mind, which is strange as she is a real girly girl so i though she would have come out with all the normal things when asked like princess ect but no police woman.
as for charlie no idea as he is still only 8 months old x
