CBFM - Any good?

Hi ladies,

I've spoken to a few people about the CBFM and am looking into getting one, however as they are sooo expensive I wanted to see what you guys think of it and if it's any good?

Also where did you get yours from and how much did you pay. The price seems to vary by huge amounts and I want to make sure i'm looking at the right one!

Thank you!
Amy xx

you switch it on everyday of your cycle, it gets you to POAS for either 10 or 20 consecutive days depending on your cycle length, it gives you three readings low, high and peak, it meaures LH like OPKs but also eastrogen so gives a more accurate estimation of OV approaching.

low - poor chance of conception
high - good chance of conception
peak - about to OV - usually ov on 2nd peak

HTH

PS if you go the the clear blue website you can read the instruction booklet for it that describes exactly how it works x

Hi Amy I swear by mine! I got my bfp on the 1st month of using it after 7 months of opk's and just seeing what happened. It is easy to use and hubbie loved it too LOL! said he liked being a slave to the machine......he is a strange man sometimes
I got mine when tesco's had their offer on for £35 but they don't do the offer now sorry!! I do think if tesco's could sell them for that price I am sure CB could lower the price as they are taking full advantage of how despertae we can all be to conceive!! x

No I ordered it on Tuesday I think it was. Keep checking though as the price seems to go up and down, I just waited and got it on one of the cheaper days.

You should start on CD1 but you can set it to up CD5!

I'm on month 2 and I love the fact you know you are doing it at the right time and there isn't the guesswork of if the line is dark enough like the other sticks!

I would def go for it!

Good luck xx

I am in my first cycle of using this and seems pretty easy as long as you can remember to do it in the time window. I also got mine cheap at Tesco but the sticks are cheap on Amazon. Am worried it will take at least one cycle to get to know me and may miss my peak - does anyone know if it works first cycle?? Should I be testing with other poas at the same time or is that just OTT!!

DebbieC - CBFM worked for me in the first cycle, it picked up highs and gave me my peak too, was so excited! I don't want to get your hopes up though as it often takes a cycle to get used to your body, so if you want to try OV sticks too for this month, then it won't hurt.

Wishing you lots of luck xx
