Hi my name is Cooper, and I have been ttc for 12 months - holy crap where did the last year go??
I currently dont suffer from POAS addiction, and I dont belong to SSAnonymous - Not yet anyway.

Ok so now I have a technical question, to you ladies who feel ov pain and chart - how long after your ov pain stops before you get a + on ov sticks / peak on CBFM / temp dip??
I had pain for the last couple of days and when DH and I BD'ed last night it was tender but now all seems fine, so I am sure it is immanent.

I am beginning to wonder if I have been ov'ing at all recently as this is the first time in months that I have felt ov pain at all.

Ok enough about my ramblings.

Am really starting to feel like everyone is moving on to PG, even though I've only been a member for 5 months.

Aaah Posy, really know how you feel hun. It seems that TTC goes through a stage of all newbies getting their BFP's and then all the oldies (well clearly not ALL the oldies) but you know what I mean.

To be honest that was one of the many reasons I stopped coming on here. I had formed friendships with some of the girls and then they moved on to PG, my head suddenly turned a vile shade of green (especially after 9 months of TTC) so instead of letting it eat me up, I removed myself from the situation. Dont get me wrong though I was and still am thrilled to bits for them but there was a little voice questioning why it wasnt me.

Hey Angel, the sure fire trick to not becoming a POAS Addict is dont buy them - simple as. When you are tempted put your ££ in a jar / piggy bank and save it - God knows we will all need it once we are PG and need to prepare for LO.

hi cooper thanks for the advise i will try that. im ok at the momeent but then again its when it gets near af time i start to falter.lol. last month i only poas once but the bad thing about that was that i didnt even think i was pg and i knew in my head that af was coming. why do we do it to ourselvrs.lol

I think you did the right thing by taking a step back Cooper, but you're back on here now and feeling stronger so thats a good thing.

There are some lovely girls on here though and I really enjoy chatting to them.

Fingers crossed we will all be moving to pregnancy soon!

In response to your question, you don't have to get ov pain to ovulate. As you have been trying for a while, perhaps you could speak to your GP about 21 day bloods?

Hey Coops nice to have you back. I'm in 2ww after attempt 19.
I get ov pain usually just the day that I presume I ov (been for 21 day bloods today so I'll know for definate next week), but occasionally mildly the day before. The day after the pain my cm goes thicker so I presume the peak of the pains are when I ov but don't know for definate.

Hi Cooper, im still here too! i used to get ov pain, when i used to ov!!! LOL not anymore though, i thought i ov this month as i got pain etc at the right time but gynae told me i didnt so not sure.

Helen - are you still with the same donor / both donors? My sister is still struggeling with the chemo, they have up'ed her dose but she is fine (deep down I am pretty sure she plays up to it - I saw her in M&S the other night and she was laughing and joking with her friends and running around with her girls then as it turned out we both popped into mums and she was "ooooh poor me, I feel so bad" "I dont know how much more of this I can handle". Ha little minx.

Hi Cooper was just having a nosy and just had to tell you that on my 1st and especially my 2nd peak I was VERY tender when we bd and then i got my bfp!!! So hope this is what happens for you too!! x

Hi cooper, i am seeing my gynae and they are going to start me on clomid next week. gutted to see so many of us oldies still here [in a good way] i love seeing bfps but love seeing the oldies get their the most.
