OH First Kick

Last night we were laying in bed and OH felt his first kick. He asked if it was me and I said no it was your baby - A look of shock and delight crossed his face.

I have felt LO moving for a few weeks now, but it was great to share this moment with him.

How about you guys?

Ahh yeah it's lovely isn't it when they can feel it.
We had our first moment of that at the weekend (I'm sure he could've felt bubba move before then, but never gets the timing right) it was lovely to see hubby's face and I had a cry/giggle (hormones!).
Our LO has been kicking around today though and I had my hand on my stomach and it was such a strong kick - gave me a bit of a start!

Ooooh you lucky thinks. My hubby can't wait to feel movement but he hasn't yet. (This is our 1st baby) He has tried a couple of times but baby has just gone quiet as soon as he puts his hand on my tum.

Will keep trying though!

I was so lucky and my OH could feel him from 19 weeks, I was however only 6.5 stone before I was pregnant so probably why.
We have been able to see him kick for around 2 weeks now and I must look like a right wierdo cos I just sit and stare at my tummy....I love it

Enjoy

My hubs felt our little one about two weeks ago, i think i felt him or her at 15 weeks, so i think we have a lively one on our hands!! Its lovely and very exciting. My lil sis felt him/her too a couple of days ago (after tapping my belly like a fish bowl!!).

Baby Ollie is kicking very hard so hubby will be able to feel it no doubt as he can kick bits of paper off my tummy. Hubby is still at work until tuesday and thats been 2 weeks so it will be a lovely surprise for him when he gets back.

Hubby felt Amber turning around and doing who knows what - probably elbowing me as well as the usual punches and kincks last night! It was the first time he's properly felt her really laying into me (hes felt the odd tap before) but she was doing somersaults and you could actually see and feel my tummy moving as she stuck her bum up to turn round and that. He was well impressed!!

Wow you lot are having lots of movements going on! I am still having "flutters" which are starting to get a bit stronger (I think!) but the wierd thing is that hubby can feel these like I can. Its like my tummy suddenly twitches or a really quick boot. He can feel them quite outside and I can feel them inside at the same time. Seems strange as they aren't that strong for me inside but seem quite strong when you put your hand my belly on the outside. Not sure if that makes sense! Its nice tho, for hubby to feel it too.

LOL I know this is going to sound really cruel but I wish my little girl would stop kicking me now lol!! She is SO rough! Yesterday I was reading a book in the garden, I rested it on my bump and twice she kicked it so hard it jumped up!! Its a little painful when she gets going as I feel it quite high up now!!!

It is lovely though when OH gets to feel it - I think its the first stages of bonding!!

TTC2009,

I am 19+5, so I was 19+3 when OH first felt a kick. He wouldn't take his hand of my tummy last night and kept feeling movements and kicks. But I think it is different for everybody. I am quite slim and my bump is quite solid. But I have felt the LO flutter since week 15, which I think is quite early for a first baby.

Nope, hubby can't feel anything yet, but I can't understand why because I'm sure I can feel Splodge kick with my hand! He will eventually, either that or I'll kick him...

Hubby has been feeling the kicks now for the past 2 weeks, I think its great when they can feel it, probably makes it seem more real to them as we are the ones that experience everything xxxx

OH First Kick

Just shared a first kick with Daddy today!
We're just back from our 20 week scan and I could feel something (I haven't been convinced they were kicks) and thought I could feel something from the outside so DH put his hand there and could really feel it. so pleased to be sharing this with him now.
Just to prove everyone is different, I am having my first baby and am not on the small size!
