Well I think that I would just go and wake my mum up (she's retired) on my way to work as I would not be able to wait a second longer!!! Plus she has been really supportive over the last ten months. Hubby's parents could wait until 12 weeks ;)

I have it planned on how to tell OH's mum and dad. We are going to get a babygrow for a new born and get to my new nanny and grandad from your new grandchild on it and give it to them as a gift. Dont know how i would tell everyone else expecially my mum and dad. And to tell OH if i find out before him i want to get a plain card and put inside " just a little note to let you know i am on my way daddy" inside it. God i have given this alot of thought havnt i lol. XX

There is an amazing cake shop in Southsea and me and DH go every so often, they do high tea there with a selection of cakes and sarnies and I've always wanted to do it but its a bit on the pricey side, last night we went and I said when we get our BFP we are going to have high tea to celebrate. So I think I would probably call hubby at work and tell him to come home before 5 because I want to get high tea and he'll know.
I'll probably phone Mam and scream down the phone at her. Like Muffin won't be telling hubby's parents until 12 weeks :)

hubby will be finding out at the same time as me as he'd kill me if I tested without him, although i have been tempted at times in the past but always manged to hold back so far so hope i will when I get my BFP!
I think both sets of parents will have to wait until we have had our first scan and then we'll find a way of giving them a picture.

well it's funny this has come up because my dad is going in for a big op, the day my AF is due, and I said to DH last night "wouldn't it be nice to tell Dad our news if we are + as it'll give him something to be positive about" and DH said "no way, we're not telling anyone until 12 weeks have passed"
hmmm like he thinks my mum won't tell before then. silly b7gger! no, i intend to take a photo of my +hpt then show it to my folks. we won't tell anyone else then until the safety time has passed!

It's so painful doing this it makes the BFN much harder.
Last month I planned to tell my dad by making a special Grandad card and giving it to him on Father's day, so this month I'm trying not to think up anything as it only makes it more disappointing! Plus I dont want to tempt fate.

My DH would have to be with me for the HPT and watch the BFP come up... thats for definate. Think that is something really special that we could share.
For the IL's and my parents I'd like to have them over to dinner... which we do often so it wouldnt be suspect... and wear a t shirt with an arrow pointing to my stomach with 'Baby',
Would tell them before the 12 week mark but sk them to keep it schtum from everyone else until then
