For those who use it how many bottles a day do you put it in? On the packet it says you can put it in upto 6 feeds a day but does anyone do that or just in a couple?

You have to out it in every feed, or its just back to square 1.

My dd is 16lb, so she has it in 8 oz of milk as per the instructions. As 8oz is a lot tho, she only has 4 bottles a day. On the odd occasion when she is hungry in the night, I make up a 4oz bottle and put 1 sachet in it, but I'm not meant to do that as she's meant to have 2 sachets, but it still seems to work!!!!

i put pippa's in every feed, having to make up 8oz bottles is a pain though as she only drinks5-6oz so we waste so much. But at least she's so much better on it

Thanks for your replies.
I've been putting it in two feeds a day, morning and night as thats what a friend was told to do by her gp. I'm guessing that every baby is different though and some need more, I think I will probably put it in another feed and see if it helps a bit more.
The first day I used it though I put it in 3 feeds in a row and the next day his poo's were quite solid! Probably wasn't a bad thing though as it was easier to clean and he didn't seem to be in any pain when he went.

I give Lucas 2 sachets because of his size but I only put it in 5oz of milk as thats what he takes. I checked with doctor as the instructions do say you have to put it into 8, but he said putting into his 5oz would be fine as he needs to drink all the gaviscon! Plus it means you not wasting any milk. I also put it into every feed for him or marnb is right its back to square one. I cant believe the diff in Lucas he is def a happier baby now.
And there poo is supposed to be more solid on gaviscon so dont worry!
