wow, my dd is 18 months and i am not even thinking about starting potty training yet. Sorry, i guess that is not really advice. From what i have heard you have to wait until they show an interest in their nappies and know when they are doing a poo. Just yestarday, my DD went and got her changing mat for me after doing a poo and if you ask if she has done a poo she nods. however, today i asked if she had done a poo and she went and got her mat but when i checked her she was fine!! Guess we are still not quite ready. i got a free DVD from huggies all about potty training but havent had time to actually watch it yet - maybe you could go to their website and see if they will send you the DVD?

Its usually around 2 hun - but Ruby is such a superstar she'll prob be early. When they can aknowledge they are going ie stand still and do it or look at you when they are going ect.
Isaac is 2 1/2 and he is going on the loo without nappies but if I put him in pants he just goes in them. J was trained around his age but every kid is different. They say girls are easier than boys though! xx xx

I would wait untill you are completely sure she is ready hun. Millie was relatively late because she couldn't be bothered to potty train  but once we did it it took 2 days for her to be tottaly dry in the day, and 2 weeks for her to be completely dry at night as well so waiting paid off for us. Ideally, as well as being able to tell you when she needs to go, she needs to be able to sit herself on the potty/toilet and manage getting her trousers/pants down byherself too.

She manages to take her nappy off and pee on the floor but that is about it at the moment. tbh i really am not looking forward to so was hoping to get it out the way but i guess like with everything with lo's we have to follow their lead. cheers ladies.xxx
