The whirlwind of nappy changes, feeding and sleepless nights that often accompany the arrival of a new baby can leave many mums feeling exhausted and emotional. But help from a sympathetic health professional can make a big difference to the all-important mum and baby bonding process.
The right support from a professional like a health visitor, paediatrician or midwife can help new mums who are having problems bonding.
That's why Infacol are rewarding exceptional healthcare with the 'Infacol Baby Bonding Award'. Launched last year the award highlights an issue that affects many mums across the UK.
The winner will be invited to an awards ceremony in Central London and will receive a bursery towards training. The parents of the top three most inspiring stories will win Mothercare vouchers. First place receives £700, second place £200 and third place £100. Editor of Prima Baby & Pregnancy magazine Elaine Griffiths will be on the judging panel.
