  • The bug in rug baby wrap It's the ultimate travel blanket. When moving baby about do you find they become unwrapped or their arms and feet stick out or do they get cold ears, head and neck when exposed to the elements? The bug in rug solves all these problems and looks fab too. The Bug in Rug baby wrap features: · A wrapping action to keep baby warm, safe and feeling comfortable and secure · Polar fleece which is light weight yet warm and wind resistant · A hood to protect baby's neck, ears and head · Feet to stop cold toes from poking out · Fits a 5-point harness · Split leg design · SPF 50+ sun protection · Machine washable and dries quickly · Simple to use and easy to store in your bag I love my bug in rug wrap it is such a brillant idea. It is a really practical item and I feel they are a must have for a new baby they make life so much easier as you know your little one is a snug as bug in a rug without worrying they will become exposed. I own the The Bug in a Rug Extreme with its water resistant outer layer and super light weight polar fleece. It is excellent quaility was washes really well. I got so much use out of mine I used it everytime I took my son out as it was so easy no need to bother with coats and blankets. I think logo on the hood is sweet and adds to the appeal of the this item and makes it look extra special. Your little one will look so cute all wraped up be prepared for lots of attention. Both summer and winter wraps come in a wide range colours and designs.

I love this product! I bought the six to twelve months in purple when my daughter was about three months old (she was quite a long baby) which was a good plan as it has seen her through the last few months really well (she's now nearly ten months and it still fits when need be) as it's just so very versatile, so much better than those zip up fleecy snowsuits where you struggle to squeeze baby arms and legs down tight tubes of material.
I've used it so frequently and it's still as good as new. I've used it to bundle her into the car, carry her in her Huggababy sling or to wrap her up so that she can sleep in the pushchair or pram on cooler Summer evenings - you know how it is, when you're on holiday and you end up keeping the kids up late - feeling happy that she is snuggly and warm in her bug. It has elicited such comments from people too and been much admired, especially given the ultra vibrant colour. Some have been unkind enough to compare her to the purple teletubby, but I'm no longer speaking to them . . .
Two other great advantages are the free arms which leave the baby unrestricted and mean you can use harnesses in buggies/car seats - you can adjust layers accordingly underneath to regulate the baby's temperature - and the hood which saves more mobile babies from pulling their hats off!
I would really recommend this baby wrap and wish I'd discovered it sooner.
