  • Babyexpert recommended

  • Founded in the 1970s, Tootsies restaurants are popping up all over the UK. There are now 30 branches nationwide. Well known for their tasty milkshakes and lively atmospheres, they are ideal for children.

Kids can choose such dishes as Creamy Salmon Pasta or a Classic Burger from the organic or non-organic menu. All children's meals include a soft drink and an ice-cream sundae, which they build themselves.

It's reasonably priced too-£6.25 for the organic menu and £4.95 for the
non-organic option. Children will love the menu, which features lots of games.

    VERDICT
Babyexpert visited the new flagship branch in Richmond, Surrey. There's lots of choice for children, and we liked the option to eat organic. There are also highchairs in every branch. Visit www.tootsiesrestaurants.co.uk.

good kids menu with plenty of choice, crayons for colouring, balloons, ice cream with sprinkles you put on yourself. nice staff at the chiswick branch (and probably elsewhere but that's the only one we go to)
