  • Pizza Express restaurants are relaxed and popular with families. There's no children's menu, but kids can choose from a wide range of pizza and pasta dishes. There are also great puddings. Our young tester couldn't believe
his eyes when the Chocolate Glory arrived - it had pieces of chocolate fudge cake and vanilla ice cream piled high in a sundae glass. There are highchairs at all restaurants. You can also check online whether a branch has baby changing facilities.

    OUR VERDICT
‘We were made very welcome and children love watching the chefs making the pizzas, thanks to the open-plan design. The food was good value, with pizzas from £5.25.' For info, visit www.pizzaexpress.co.uk.
