  • Carol Dyce stayed at Bedruthan Steps Hotel, Mawgan Porth, Cornwall, with Molly, 10m, Finbar, 4 and Mark, 6.

‘We had a beautiful view of Mawgan Porth beach from our spacious, modern villa, which had a huge bedroom for us and  a cosy bunk room for the boys. There were nice touches too, such as a seahorse light. Mark and Finbar were thrilled the villa overlooked a playground. There's an indoor playground too, plus a toddler play area, mini diggers, a launderette, an outdoor and indoor pool, and the Ocean Spa beauty salon - great for massages. We booked the kids into the OFSTED-registered kids' club so we could enjoy a quiet dinner. You could also use the babysitting service.'

Best thing ‘It's entertaining for kids and spoils the adults.'

Worst thing ‘It's pricey for dinner and the kids' club.'
