Hand-made knitted baby booties...
  • Hand-made knitted baby booties...

  • ...just what every fashion-conscious newborn should have

A pair of knitted baby booties are about as traditional as it comes, but they needn't look like they came from another era! These cute designs are bang on-trend, quick and simple to do, and make the perfect starter pattern for a novice knitter. Alternatively you could chat up a willing granny or knitting enthusiast to 'knit and purl' them for you.

They are knitted in Tebe yarn from The Little Knitting Company (£3.45 per 50g ball) and can be personalised with a button or ribbon as you choose. Of course, as they're so quick and easy to make you could have a different pair for every outfit!

The Little Knitting Company are passionate about yarn and love to discover wonderful new textures and colours for budding knitting enthusiasts to enjoy, and they have lots of ideas to inspire creativity.

To download and print out your booties knitting pattern simply click on the blue 'CLICK IT OUT' button below.

The Little Knitting Company is on Stand 02 at The Knitting and Stitching Show, Alexandra Palace, London, from 8-11 October, where they will also be giving away free patterns for the knitted bootee designs.

Look out for more exclusive baby knitting patterns appearing on Babyexpert.com soon! For more seasonal children's fashion ideas see here.
