pregnant after missed miscarriage

i'm 8weeks pregnant and i am very nrevous and cant relax. i have a 10yr old from a previous partner and fell pregnant last may after having an early miscarriage the month before, my husband and i were over the moon as it would have been his first child, i never thought id have another till i met a wonderful man, as we miscarried i was given weekly scans to make sure all was ok, i got scanned every week from 6-9wks and all was going great, we had the pictures, we heard the strong heartbeat, we looked forward with hope and excitement and my son was over the moon, i was told i wouldnt need another scan for a few weeks as everything was going well, until i was 12weeks when i had a little bleeding, i went for a scan to make sure all was well and i really didnt think the worst as i felt great and was sure it was normal. Our world was turned upside down in a matter of minutes when the midwife told us that i had had a missed miscarriage, when the baby dies but you dont lose it right away. my baby had died at 9 and a half weeks, the feeling of guilt i had as all i could think of was that my baby had been dead for 3weeks and i never knew! how could i not know? anyway, the doctor sent me home and i was supposed to go in for a d&c a few days later but sadly i lost my baby at home the next night, my partner was wonderful but the day and a half that i knew my baby was dead inside me were horrific, i vowed id never go through that again, my son was upset, myself and my husband were going through so much pain, all i could think of in the following weeks were silly things like, it would be this size this week, it would have been moving soon, i should be big and proud by now, well my baby would have been due a few weeks ago and i felt i went through that whole pregnancy in my head. 3weeks ago i discovered i was pregnant again and again we are over the moon but i am so scared, i am again having scans every week to moniter me but i am 8 weeks pregnant now and im dreading the next few weeks, every time i need the loo i am checking im not bleeding, every time i get a twinge im going to the loo to check its a nightmare lol i am a fairly upbeat person and believe all the sayings that whats for you wont go past you but i am scared to look forward to this baby as deep down i think im trying to protect myself going through the pain of losing it. After all that moaning lol i am feeling pretty good today as i heard the heartbeat and saw my baby this morning but its a long time to next monday when i see it again!! we havent told anyone im pregnant because a few of my nieces are pregnant now too and if something happens i dont want them feeling bad for me as i know they found it hard telling me they were pregnant in the first place especially my niece who is due anyday. I am so happy for them but i dont want to take anything away from there pregnancy if i had to lose mine,. I feel quite good now getting this off my cheast... my painful tender cheast i may add lol i hope to blog an update next week .... fingers crossed xx

Me too! I'm about 8 weeks pregnant after 3 miscarraiges i go to the loo about 20 times a day just to make sure Im not bleeding! so fingers crossed for both of us xxx

hi.i'm trying to concieve after a m/c, it was my 2nd. i know when and if i get preg i'll be running to the toilet every 5 minutes to make sure i'm not bleeding! m/c is a horrible thing to go through, one of my close friends is going through a missed m/c at the moment and it's heartbreaking. i really hope everything goes ok for u two! x x x

thank you all for your comments, im now nearly 12 weeks!!!! still terrified but getting ther, its definately helping that im having a scan every week so i can actually put my mind at rest. so ill update soon xx
