What's the worst thing you can say to someone who's been trying long term?

Although I am aware I have not been trying as long as some, the fact that I now have been trying as long as it would take to conceive and give birth, is starting to upset me. This month is the month, that pushes it over the edge. Though in my mind I expected that this month I would be 7 or 8 months pregnant and looking forward to my maternity leave.
This is the month that I have started temperature taking and ovulation tests, though so far nothing, which panics me that i'm doing it wrong, and I don't really have anyone to ask.

What's the worst thing someone can say?
Today I was chatting about Mel C being pregnant, and jokingly played spoilt brat and said, whilst stamping my feet, "I want one."
The loveliest and sweetest girl, said to me "Well if you want one, why don't you just have one?'

I wanted to cry, scream, explain the technicalities, but instead just smiled sweetly and as always blamed hubby for not being ready yet.

2nd worse - someone describing his son as an accident, and then saying that he thought most pregnancies were unplanned and that he didn't think anyone planned to have a baby.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!

Only good thing, that I found a reason to want it this month, tomorrow is our 1st year wedding anniversary. And, I think, the day I'm due to ovulate, so hopefully we will conceive on our anniversary, I hope anyway.
