My First Pregnancy!!

OK so Im really really going to try hard to keep up with the entries in my blog I promise! Its the first time Ive done one of these so forgive me if I'm rambling!! My name is Lou and im 22 and live with my fiancee who's 25. Weve been together for over 4 years now and have been talking about weddings and babies for years and after a fun packed 2 weeks in Zante this year we decided sod it lets try for a baby, thinking that if I came off the pill early we would be trying for a while..........................let me tell you this is not the case!! After being off the pill for some 4 weeks I started to feel a little off colour with sore boobs, cramps and was very very moody! I put this all down to having just come off the pill but thought heck Ill do a test anyway. So Im sitting on the bed looking at the stick Iv'e just peed on from afar and am shaking uncontrollably thinking my god what if it is a positive??? But it wasnt. My heart rate settled and I got on with my day feeling slightly disappointed. HOWEVER, a week later my period had still not turned up and I was thinking "Hmmmmmm maybe I should pee on another stick" so by gum I did and was lying there just chillin thinking yeah it will just be another negative (I was convinced we would be trying well into the new year with me just coming off the pill or maybe my fiancee is shooting blanks or something!!) and bloody hell I needed a clean change of pants when I looked at the test. There was the tiniest faintest pink line! Could it be? No seriously it can't be.........I'M PREGNANT!!! So called fiancee and had a bit of a blub down the phone (he was working away from home at the time) and decided we would keep it quiet until I had done another test in a few days time. So 3 days later I buy myself a Clear Blue Digital and lo and behold after peeing on it within a minute the word Pregnant comes up on the screen. I go running in-to the bedroom where fiancee is sleeping and jump up and down on the bed shouting "Youre gonna be a daddy!!" He has now been nicknamed Daddy Cool by his brother-in-law! So we decide to tell the family right away - Ians family are absolutely over the moon, my little sister wasn't too fussed really and my mum and dad werent over the moon but after the shock sunk in they were really pleased and have already planned to buy us all our baby stuff. Everyone at work is pleased for me so I really couldn't be happier right now and I can't wait to find out the sex of the baby were hoping for a little boy but as long as our baby is happy and healthy we will be happy too. Apart form the fact that Im absolutely exhausted, I'm peeing like a racehorse, my nipples are like bullets 24/7 much to my fiancee's delight, I feel sick constantly and am having the odd cramps. I keep telling myself it will all be worth it when I have that little bundle of joy in my arms! Booking in appointment with midwife on 17th Dec then hopefully will be booked in for my scan shortly after that - really cant wait!!
