  • Hollywood A-lister Halle names her baby girl Nahla.

Hollywood actor Halle Berry and her male model partner are the proud parents of a baby girl, who was born in hospital on Sunday March 16, 2008.

The couple have named their daughter Nahla Ariela. Nahla is Arabic for 'honeybee' and Ariela means 'lion for God' in Hebrew.

Halle was said to be 'doing great' after the birth at the Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The baby weighed 7lbs 4oz.

Halle, 41, and partner Gabriel Aubry, who met at a Versace photo shoot in 2005, agreed that Nahla would take her father's surname.
