  • What's the difference between baby formula milks?

What's in formula milk?

Formula milk is cow's milk that is modified to closely resemble breastmilk, with added vitamins and minerals. It is suitable for babies up to one year old.

What is milk for 'hungrier' babies and how is it different from normal formula?

This modified formula milk takes longer to digest, meaning babies stay full for longer. It is not a good idea to change formulas regularly. Babies get used to a formula and how it is digested, and changes could cause tummy upsets.

What are 'follow-on' and 'goodnight' milks?

Follow-on milks contain more protein and minerals than standard formulas and are suitable from 6 months only.

Goodnight milks are oat- and rice-enriched formulas that are thicker than standard formulas, and can help keep your baby fuller for longer. They are designed for use at night only.
