  • Will anything cure my night-time leg cramps?

  • Q: I get really bad leg cramps now I'm pregnant. They actually wake me up. What can I do about them?

Midwife Nikki Khan says: Eat bananas! This really worked for me. One reason you might be getting leg cramps is because you're low in potassium, and bananas are a great source of this. Just half a banana after your evening meal should help.

Restless legs are also commn in pregnancy, and cause a jerking movement in your legs during the night. if this happens, get out of bed and move around. Keeping active during the day will help prevent both of these annoying conditions.
