  • When will I feel my baby kick?

  • Q: When will I feel my baby kick and how does it feel?

A: It varies for every mum-to-be, but you can expect to feel your first kick between 16 and 22 weeks.

It may feel like fluttering, or even trapped wind.

Monitor your baby's movements from 24 weeks so you know what's normal for him. Call your midwife or hospital if you're worried about a lack of movement.
